Cristian Vogel is a life-long innovator in the design, composition and performance of electronic sounds. His independent career in music and audio technology has won prizes and awards establishing him as an outstanding influence in the field of composition for studio, club culture and stage. He performs, remixes and produces original music and sound design at an international level. He has lived in Brighton, Barcelona, Berlin and Geneva and is now permanently based in Copenhagen where he continues creating technologically based music, sound and audio technology at his design studios Ekometic and NeverEngineLabs.

Bean-twisting techno experiments from the fizzy grey matter of CPH DAW whizz Cristian Vogel on a rare vinyl outing from The Tapeworm’s Wormhole offshoot. A persistently imaginative presence in techno since the early ‘90s, Vogel serves a sensational 10 minute A-side collage of voices and mercurial electronics, ‘Accelerated Morphosis’ that conjures the feeling of hurtling thru multiple dimensions, atoms splitting, face-melting and reduced to vapour, while the ‘Mind Control Version’ follows a sort of flashcore model of high velocity intensity sure to fixate followers of La Peste, AFX, Richard Devine, before he gets fruity with the gnashing vortices of fanged breakbeats and acidic grunts in ‘La Neta’ recalling Gooooose cutting loose with Autechre.
